Description
We are seeking to appoint a Civil Designer or a Senior Civil Designer in a full-time permanent position in Toowoomba. Reporting to the Design Lead, the Civil Designer will contribute to delivering innovative solutions in all facets of land, urban subdivision projects in this region. This role will suit an experienced 12D Designer who has worked on civil projects in Australia.
Our approach to community development consulting covers master planned communities, mixed-use developments, parks, recreation facilities, and streetscapes. We activate urban downtowns, suburban centers, small towns, and rural areas—and the multimodal corridors that connect us to the places we work, live, and thrive.
The role
Preparing conceptual and detailed designs using 12D (land, urban and subdivisions)Interpreting civil design requirements State Government, Local Government Authorities and private sector clientsInterfacing with associated disciplines such as planning, survey, traffic, electrical and landscapingInteracting with clients regarding project needs ensuring that expert and quality service is deliveredCollaborating with diverse teams nationally
About You
Demonstrated civil design/drafting experience within a consulting environmentRelevant qualificationsDemonstrated experience ideally using 12DFamiliarity with local authority and state government approval and regulatory requirementsA commitment to self-improvement and continuing professional development
