Description
Crossroads is a division of Hazell Bros. This position is located in the Asphalt & Sealing team of Crossroads.
The ROLE
- Estimates quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labour to determine project feasibility as required.
- Assists in the preparation of contract documents, tendering and procurement of projects
- Assists in the preparation of the construction and environmental method statements and other documentation as required in the project planning conditions as required.
- Assists with daily costing of nominated projects as required.
- Direct construction, operations, and maintenance activities at project site as required.
- Ensure that all activities are completed in a safe and efficient way.
- Any other duties or tasks as reasonably directed.

Skills And Experiences
About YOU
- 3+ years or more relevant experience or exposure to Asphalt and/or Sealing (preferably in Australia)
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Sound knowledge of engineering principals to maximise safety and minimise defects.
- Practical knowledge of regulatory governance, legislative requirements, codes of practice and compliance requirements.
- Highly developed communication skills both written and verbal to effectively with customers, colleagues and management.
- Sound understanding of Microsoft Office software including Microsoft Project.
- Must have current full working rights in Australia at time of application.
