We are currently recruiting for a Draftsperson who will report directly into the Supervisor Asset Management. This role is being offered on a 5:2:4:3, allowing you to have a long weekend every fortnight and have every public holiday off.
The Role
As the Draftsperson you will create and review technical drawings to support engineering and construction projects.
A Day In The Life May Include
Prepare detailed technical drawings based on specifications Assess and update drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with standardsLiaise with engineers, Planners, and management to understand project requirements including retrieval of documentation for both internal and external stakeholders Complete layouts, sketches and plans using 2D Autocad/Microstation software and 3D InventorSupport in the preparation of project documentation and reportsAssess and implement codes, standards and regulations to designs
About You
Ideally you will have a tertiary qualification in Drafting/Engineering or a relevant Trade Certification alongside significant industry experience. You will come from a site background and have a clear understanding of site operational requirements, and knowledge of applicable legislation, regulations and industry standards. You will have working knowledge of Inventor 3D and Microstation.
