We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our client's team in Bunbury. This role primarily focuses on the maintenance, repair, and servicing of valves across various industrial applications. The successful candidate will work with a team of professionals to ensure the smooth operation and safety of critical systems.

Responsibilities
Your Responsibilities:
- Diagnose issues and carry out troubleshooting tasks to ensure proper valve functionality.
- Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble valves, ensuring high-quality repair and refurbishment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, ensuring valves are working to manufacturer specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics to guide your work.
- Collaborate with other team members to perform efficient installations and repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following all safety and quality standards.
- Must be safety oriented.
Your Profile
Essential Requirements:
- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or equivalent (not essential, if high level of experience)
- Proven experience working with valves in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of valve types, maintenance techniques, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Previous experience in the oil & gas or mining sectors (not essential, but highly desirable)
