YA highly motivated person is required to assist with the presentation of parks, sports grounds town centres and road verges in the Blue Mountains. Primarily the position will undertake mowing and plant operation maintenance duties to a high standard. In addition, brush cutting, weeding, planting and litter collection may be required. The minor maintenance of plant and equipment items (including ride-on mowers) will also be necessary to perform these general maintenance tasks. As the position will be required to work in public places an ability to communicate effectively and politely with colleagues and members of the public is also required.
Demonstrated motivation and enthusiasm to provide quality outcomes in open space settings is essential. Experience in the operation and maintenance of plant and equipment as well as a commitment to working safely and as part of a dynamic team is also essential.
Remuneration: base salary commencing at $59,414 gross per annum + 11.5% superannuation + adverse working conditions allowance at $1,035 gross per annum + performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary (if eligible) + annual award increaseFor further information contact: David Pinches on 4780 5385.Closing date: 8 June 2025.
