MineARC Systems is recruiting a Business Development Manager to join our team in Kewdale, Western Australia to sell our expanding range of ancillary products which includes respiratory protection, mine escape rescue equipment and rebreathers; all engineered to improve safety and withstand the harsh, rugged environment of heavy industry.
The role:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
- The ability to promote the ancillary range of products on its technical merits
- Proactively prospecting and securing new business opportunities within the global market
- Being the product champion on the products within the ancillary range
- Liaising with certification and testing bodies to ensure compliance
- You will be responsible to write, implement and execute your strategic business plan
- You will be empowered to set your sales budget in consultation with the Sales Manager
- Provide training to other BDMs within the company on the products.
- Maintaining and building customer relationships
- Providing excellent customer service including giving advice and technical information to customers on the company's products
- Receiving and making sales calls
- Processing new sales leads including preparing and sending quotes and quote follow up
- Entertaining clients when required
- Achieving budgeted sales
- Updating the CRM
- Domestic and international travel where required
- Presenting ancillary products at expos and trade shows
- Technical aptitude – Mine Emergency Response Team or respiratory safety equipment expertise would be an advantage.
- Sales experience in the mining, industrial or military sector preferred
- Self motivated and career focused
- Ability to travel
- Ability to effectively use MS Suite of programs including Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint
- Ability to present to all levels within the organisation from top to bottom
- Ability to present at seminars, conferences and corporate functions
