Your new opportunity:
The Team Leader - Endpoint Management and Messaging (EMM) role at Queensland Treasury is responsible for managing and maintaining corporate desktops, identity and access management, mobility solutions, software packaging, patching, and administering Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products. The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team, maintain positive relationships with Treasury business units, and drive the development and implementation of new desktop and mobility techniques. Strong knowledge of desktop and management technologies, cybersecurity tools and processes, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
In this role, you will:
• Lead the EMM team in delivering desktop solutions, mobility services, identity and access management, application packaging and deployment, messaging, application support, and collaboration services that meet industry best practices and client needs.
• Build a high-performing team and culture by developing staff capabilities and effectively managing performance and change.
• Develop positive relationships with Treasury business units, understand their needs, and provide professional advice on Endpoint and Access Management issues.
• Drive the development and implementation of new desktop, mobility, availability and accessibility techniques to enable an 'anywhere, any device' service delivery capability.
• Represent the EMM team at forums and meetings as required.
What experience you will bring:
• Excellent working knowledge of desktop and management technologies including Microsoft SCCM & Intune, Windows 11, Group Policy Management, Microsoft O365 applications including Teams, Active Directory, hybrid cloud environments, and cyber security tools and processes 1.
• Knowledge of Service Desk management tools, such as ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with endpoint cyber security controls.
• Aptitude for leadership and the ability to build and lead an effective team.
• Excellent communication skills.
Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, however, relevant qualifications will be are highly regarded.
