About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our dynamic Forensic Accounting team. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in preparing, analysing, and reporting financial data to support decision-making and drive strategic initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be adept at analysing financial data and most importantly, be resourceful, and hungry to learn.
You can think outside the box to provide intelligent solutions for your stakeholders, and you enjoy immersing yourself in the detailed analysis to understand complex data. Whilst insurance experience will be highly regarded, it is not essential.
About You
You will be collaborative, articulate and great at building rapport, and have impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written.
In addition, the following skills and attributes will help you be successful in this role:

Experience as Financial Analyst or equivalent preferred

Relevant bachelor’s degree

Strong Excel skills (advanced) and experience with financial software/systems

Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
-
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data clearly
-
CPA/CA qualification or progress toward certification is highly regarded
-
Thorough knowledge of accounting terminology, practices and conditions
-
Strong analytical and mathematical ability
-
Demonstrates high levels of personal integrity and professionalism
-
Team player; able to exchange information and knowledge at all levels

Be solutions focussed to deliver against targets
Key Accountabilities

Investigate and assess financial insurance losses as directed by other staff
-
Gather evidence and assist in preparation of expert witness reports for use in legal proceedings
-
Maintain company reputation and insurance product integrity by complying with federal and state regulations and corporate quality standards

Maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuing education
