Welcome to Melbourne Clinical and Child Psychology. Our clinics in Armadale and Beaumaris provide a supportive and inviting space for Endorsed and Registrar Psychologists to establish their private practice in a collegial atmosphere.
MCCP has gained a long-standing reputation for providing excellent care and we have well-established referral networks within Melbourne’s Southeast. Psychologists at MCCP provide evidence-based assessment and treatment for a range of mental health, developmental and relationship concerns in adults, teenagers, children and parents. We are a teaching clinic and have Clinical Master’ students from Melbourne University on placement throughout the year.
Our reception team are onsite in Armadale and Beaumaris and contribute to a welcoming environment. Our friendly receptionists have a Psychology background and provide triaging of referrals, efficient management of appointments and accounts and client – centred care.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Psychologist with experience and interest in working with children and adolescents to work from our Beaumaris clinic. Spaces rarely become available, and you will be joining a wonderfully welcoming group of Psychologists.
About you
You may currently work in public mental health and are thinking about transitioning to private practice or you work in private practice and are looking for a work environment with collegial support and social connections. If so, then this is a great opportunity to experience how private practice can be fulfilling and supportive.
We also welcome new graduates of Doctoral and Master’ Clinical Programs. We have a Registrar program in place with regular individual supervision and group supervision as well as connection and support from other Registrars, newly endorsed Psychologists and Senior Clinical Psychologists.
About us
Our clinics in Armadale and Beaumaris are well-equipped and inviting locations in village settings surrounded by shops and cafes. All offices have sunlight and windows to leafy gardens and tree lined streets. The offices are beautifully designed with high end furniture and decoration so that you love the space you are working in.
Our Beaumaris clinic takes its inspiration from the bayside and is in a house centrally located in Seaview Village. It is warm, light and inviting. We provide espresso coffee, fruit, snacks and more to enhance the work environment.
We support Psychologists with computers, phones, secure messaging, Zoom health accounts, easy to use practice management software and integrated payments as well as a library of resources. You are able to simply focus upon therapy whilst MCCP provides all other supports.
We value a team atmosphere and arrange no – obligation 6 weekly professional development meetings and 4 weekly clinical peer supervision meetings., We encourage discussing therapeutic processes, formulations and treatment ideas and share resources. We often provide shared care and secondary consultations with the advantage of working in a team with Clinical Psychologists, Educational and Developmental Psychologists and Clinical Neuropsychologists.

What we are looking for
· AHPRA registration as a Psychologist with Endorsement in Clinical Psychology or Educational and Developmental Psychology (or registrar)
· Commitment and passion for providing exceptional client-centred care and interest in connecting with like-minded Psychologists
· Current, or eligible for, registration with Medicare
· Working with Children Check
· Professional Indemnity Insurance
