The role - your duties:
- Manage and oversee all areas of the Property Management department;
- Coach and inspire your team to deliver operational excellence and 5-star customer service;
- Foster a positive, collaborative and supportive team culture ensuring team members feel valued and empowered;
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and expectations to drive high performance;
- Conduct regular check-ins with team members and organise training and development programs to encourage upskilling, career growth and goal setting;
- Build and nurture strong and positive relationships with landlords, tenants and stakeholders, ensuring they receive exceptional service and support;
- Manage your own small residential portfolio;
- Assist in the growth of the rent roll through strategic business planning and collaboration;
- Monitor market trends and encourage innovation;
- Implement comprehensive onboarding, induction and training programs for new team members.
- Stay across trust accounting and invoicing for mid/end of month;
- Implement and maintain robust policies and procedures;
- Coach, advise and attend tribunal (NCAT); and
- Lead by example.
The candidate - to succeed in this role you'll have:
- Experience as a PM Team Leader OR extensive experience as a senior property manager;
- Proven experience in all aspects of Property Management;
- A real estate licence;
- Excellent people skills and the ability to motivate and inspire team members;
- Experience and a desire to develop systems and processes to contribute to team success;
- The ability to lead a team;
- Strong conflict resolution skills;
- Exceptional customer service skills;
- Excellent communication skills;
- High levels of professionalism;
- A strong understanding of legislation and best practice; and
- The ability to manage and prioritise your time.
