Geotechnical Engineer

TalentWeb is currently on the hunt for a Geotechnical Engineer to join an established and growing civil, structural and geotechnical engineering consultancy based in Brisbane CBD, focusing on delivering projects for TMR, QLD Rail and local councils.
Your role will involve a range of responsibilities under the leadership of the Principal Geotechnical Engineer and an established senior leadership team but will be mainly focused on geotechnical design.
Other key deliverables include project management, client communication, mentoring graduates and report writing.
Ideally you will have the following experience:

• 5-10 years’ experience in Australia, ideally QLD, working on geotechnical design projects for state government road authorities;
• Experience using some of the following software: SLIDE, PLAXIS, WALLAP, SLOPE/W;
• A passion for geotechnical design and upskilling juniors;
• Experience in a consulting environment;
• Desire to achieve RPEQ/CPEng accreditation in the next couple of years, if not already in possession.

You will be joining an established engineering consultancy whose senior leadership team is well known and regarded in the industry, with a pipeline of project work in transport infrastructure across roads, infrastructure and rail.
