About the role
FGI Developments is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. This full-time role is based in Cairns, Queensland and will be responsible for driving new business growth and strategic expansion initiatives for the company.
What you'll be doing

Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the local and regional markets

Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients and partners

Developing and executing sales strategies to secure new projects and clients

Providing accurate forecasting and progress reporting to the senior management team

Collaborating cross-functionally to deliver exceptional customer experiences

Representing the company at industry events, conferences and networking functions
What we're looking for

Proven track record in business development, preferably within the property or construction industry

Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills

Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify and seize new market opportunities

Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as sales, marketing or business management
