About The Role

This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for someone passionate about science and innovation, looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced lab environment. As a Lab Intern at Hismile, you’ll support the R&D team in the assisting with lab testing, preparing samples, maintaining equipment, and keeping accurate records, whilst working alongside a team that develops cutting edge formulations. You’ll play a key role in helping the team stay organised, compliant, and ahead of the trends – all while learning the ins and outs of product development in the Oral Health industry.

About The Team

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the R&D team in conducting basic lab experiments under supervision.
• Help set up, monitor, and record results for stability and performance tests to support new and existing product development.
• Ensure the lab is clean, organised, and stocked. Support in the maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
• Prepare and label test samples, maintain raw material samples, and help track inventory of lab supplies and ingredients.
• Assist in maintaining accurate lab records, formulation notes, and test logs in line with internal processes.
• Conduct basic ingredient research and compile findings.
• Follow all lab safety procedures and company protocols to ensure a compliant and safe work environment.
• Provide ad hoc support to teams such as Quality Assurance team and R&D team, by gathering data or assisting with documentation when needed.
