Paralegal / Law student with future in Family, Estate & Business Law

In this role, you will be:
Helping solicitors with a wide range of paralegal tasks, including:

Typing dictations and preparing file notes from meetings

Drafting client correspondence, court documents, and legal forms
-
Assisting with brief preparation and collation for counsel
-
Managing physical and digital files, including scanning, sorting, and filing documents accurately
-
Conducting legal research and assisting with case preparation as directed
-
Attending internal meetings and taking clear, concise notes.
Helping everyone as the Manager of first impressions ( receptionist ) by:

Welcoming clients personally and answering calls at reception with professionalism and empathy

Being friendly & personable
-
Supporting the day-to-day running of the office

Taking and passing on clear concise messages

Data entry, invoicing, calendar appointments and assisting with basic bookkeeping tasks

Maintaining tidy and organised common areas like including boardroom, filing room, reception and kitchen

Managing competing priorities and working efficiently in a fast-paced legal environment
We’re looking for someone who:

Is in their final year of law school and eager to learn by assisting in a real-world legal setting

Can stay organised and composed in a fast-paced professional environment

Can speak and write clearly

Listens carefully, takes initiative (not risks), learns quickly, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves

Is confident and composed when dealing with people

Intends to progress into Family Law/ Wills and Estates /Business Law areas
