Role details
The Pharmacy Services at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Senior Pharmacist (Oncology) to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunity
To provide high level clinical pharmacy services and specialist Oncology and Haematology clinical advice and leadership; and to coordinate the Oncology Pharmacy Service for the Mackay Hospital and Health Service in partnership with North Queensland Oncology Information Management System Support Team.
About the Team
Our Pharmacy Service is based at the Mackay Base Hospital and provides patient centred pharmacy services, seven days a week. Our pharmacy provides medication on hospital prescriptions for use while patients are in hospital.

Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
