About the Role:
This high-level role plays a central part in shaping the future of our workforce. You’ll play a critical role in initiatives that enhance organisational design, succession planning, employee experience, and workplace culture—while ensuring alignment with the Gender Equality Act 2020 and TAFE Gippsland’s values.
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor on organisational development matters. From conducting workforce planning and reviewing job design to assist in embedding diversity, equity and inclusion principles across the Institute, your work will influence the organisation at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement talent and succession planning strategies across departments.
- Contribute to strategic workforce planning and job design frameworks that support organisational agility.
- Promote inclusion and compliance with frameworks such as the Gender Equality Act 2020 and Respect and Equality Framework.
- Lead workshops, focus groups, and OD interventions that support employee engagement and culture transformation.
- Support the development of a future-fit HRIS strategy aligned with operational and cultural goals.
What You’ll Bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, Organisational Development, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in organisational development in a complex or public sector setting.
- Strong knowledge of succession planning, job design, and culture-building methodologies.
- Excellent facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
- Ability to translate data and trends into meaningful workforce strategies.
- Experience with compliance and reporting aligned to workplace equity frameworks.
- Experience in the education or vocational training sector is highly desirable.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Valid Working with Children Clearance
- Satisfactory National Police Check (under 12 months old)
- Current Driver’s Licence
