Position: Full-Time Baker
Location: Miami and Mermaid Beach
Work Type: Full-Time (38 hours per week)
Salary: $76,000 - $80,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, and baked goods following established recipes.• Mix, knead, shape, and portion dough to create consistent products.• Operate baking ovens and equipment safely and efficiently.• Monitor and adjust oven temperatures, baking times, and production schedules.• Check the quality of raw ingredients and finished products to maintain standards.• Decorate and finish baked goods with glazes, icing, or other toppings.• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe working environment, including equipment maintenance; and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations• Collaborate with the team to develop new products and improve existing recipes.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Relevant trade qualifications or minimum 3 years of baker experience• Proven experience as a baker or similar role in a commercial bakery.• Strong understanding of baking techniques and food safety practices.• Ability to follow recipes and meet production schedules.• Attention to detail and a passion for high-quality products.• Good teamwork and communication skills.
