Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct, child-centered support to the NDIS participant in accordance with their individualized care plan and developmental goals.

Assist with age-appropriate daily living activities , including personal hygiene, toileting, dressing, and mealtime routines, while promoting independence and dignity.

Facilitate engagement in recreational, social, and community activities that support inclusion, play-based learning, and emotional development.

Provide transport assistance for the child and their guardian to attend medical appointments, therapy sessions, school-related events, and community outings.

Support the development of early life skills, such as communication, social interaction, emotional regulation , and participation in structured routines.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation , including daily progress notes, incident reports, and communication logs, in line with NDIS and organizational requirements.

Ensure all practices are aligned with NDIS guidelines , child safety standards, and organizational policies and procedures.

Communicate professionally and compassionately with the child’s family, allied health professionals, support coordinators, and other stakeholders to ensure coordinated care.

Uphold workplace health and safety standards , ensuring a secure and supportive environment tailored to the needs of young children.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development , particularly in areas relevant to early childhood development and disability support.
