Nextt is looking for passionate and reliable Female Disability Support Workers to join our growing team across Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. If you’re someone who loves helping others, has a positive attitude, and is ready to learn new skills like manual handling and bowel/catheter care, this could be the perfect role for you.
About the role:
As a Disability Support Worker with Nextt, you’ll be delivering high-quality, person-centred support to our clients in their homes and local communities. You’ll support clients with a range of daily living needs while building meaningful relationships that truly change lives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Personal care and hygiene assistance
- Medication administration (training provided)
- Support with daily living tasks (household duties, transport, community access)
- Manual handling, including the use of hoists (training provided)
- Bowel and catheter care (training provided)
What you’ll need:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check (NSW)
- Australian Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
- NDIS Orientation Module – ‘Quality, Safety and You’
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
