Wooloowin State School is seeking an enthusiastic Administrative Officer to join our friendly and dedicated team. In this key support role, you will provide high-quality assistance across a variety of administrative functions, including enrolments, data entry, general administration, and front-desk reception.
Your work will involve daily interactions with students, parents, staff, and members of the wider school community.
This temporary part-time AO2 position involves working 48 hours per fortnight, with the appointment continuing until 12 December 2025, unless otherwise determined.

About the Role
As the Administrative Officer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide routine reception services including receiving telephone calls, over the counter enquiries, arranging appointments, correspondence and general administrative support.
- Use of OneSchool, Passtab, BEMIR, Microsoft suite, Excel
- Data entry of attendance /absences of students, SMS absences, late and departure slips, absence phone calls
- Administering of first aid and management/administering of student medication.
- Management of WAAPS.
- Undertake work activities in a co-operative and supportive manner as an active member of a diverse work team.
- Interpreting departmental and school policies, guidelines and ensuring legislative and procedural requirements are met.
- Under the direction Principal/Business Manager, manage the enrolment processes for the school.
- Provide a range of financial administrative activities and operations including data entry, maintenance of financial registers, computing and clerical support for the effective operations of the office, in accordance with legislative, policy and procedural requirements.
- Other suitable duties, consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed by the Business Manager or Principal
