Our client is currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Business Development Manager to join their growing team. This full-time role will be pivotal in developing and executing strategies to drive client acquisition and business growth. Working closely with the company’s directors and admin team, the successful candidate will take initiative in shaping the strategic direction of key service areas. This is a dynamic, autonomous position best suited to a proactive, strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the disability services sector.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute client acquisition strategies
- Manage SIL expansion and oversee vacancy placements
- Lead SDA development initiatives and promote their growth
- Establish and nurture referral networks with hospitals, LACs, businesses, and support coordinators
- Analyse and improve performance across business units, ensuring KPI alignment
- Prepare tender applications aligned with the company’s service capabilities
- Represent the organisation at community events and Expos
- Organise brand awareness activities including events and stakeholder meetings
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities
- Stay informed about changes in NDIS and related policies
Your Profile
The ideal candidate will bring a background in business development within the NDIS or health sector, along with a passion for community impact. To be successful in this role, you will have:
- At least 3 years’ experience in business development, ideally within the NDIS or related sector
- Proven success in portfolio management and achieving growth targets
- Strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building capabilities
- Creative problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking
- Solid project management and time management skills
- In-depth understanding of NDIS frameworks, including SIL, SDA, and HCP
- The ability to travel for business needs
- A tertiary qualification in Business Development, Marketing, MBA, or a related discipline (Desireable)
