An independent medical communications agency is seeking a talented Associate Editor to join their rapidly growing team. This is a fantastic role for a recent graduate with a science background and an interest in writing and communications to join a close-knit, supportive medical education agency where you can get involved in all the different functions and learn the ropes of medical communications.Ideally someone will have worked in a publishing or healthcare agency in an editorial capacity and have some experience of compliance management.

The job:
Provides editorial and compliance supportEnsures accurate editing of materials through the editing processIs proficient at Powerpoint to edit slides including formatting text, figures, graphs and animationsCritiques documents to improve format, use of English, grammar and styleCreates job bags and project manages the compliance processWorks in close conjunction with the programme (client service) teamsEnsures adherence to project spec and budgetAdvises on future pressure points to identify need for extra resourceIs confident to brief and feedback to freelancers
The candidate:
Will have a life science degreeWork experience in a medical communications/ healthcare communications agency or scientific publisherExperience referencing scientific materialsExperienced with PowerPoint, preferably with hands on experience of Zinc and other compliance software (desired)
