About the role
In order to be successful in the role, prior demonstrated skills and knowledge in a similar role is a must. We are searching for a passionate, confident and dynamic chef who can progress in the role.
The successful applicant will be responsible for creating the menu, ordering and organisation and the flow of the kitchen as well as contribute to the success of varied functions.
This role is a hands-on position requiring you to be highly organised and self-motivated, ensuring that our high standards are maintained.
Requirements:
• More than 2 years of full-time experience.
• Should be able to work in a busy kitchen and busy environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Extensive knowledge of Italian and modern Australian cooking methods.

General Duties
• Food Preparation and Presentation
• Ensuring menus, standards, procedures and processes are followed
• cleaning, sanitation, and organisation of kitchen, walk-in cold rooms, and all storage area.
• Help control food wastage and costs
• Adhere to our high HACCP control standards and apply food safety principles effectively

Expected salary: $70,000 - $75,000 per year
