Join Senex Energy as an Access & Approvals Intern, contributing to regulatory approvals and cultural heritage management.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing internal policies and procedures.
- Preparing and lodging external regulatory approval documentation with the State Government.
- Documenting control processes and updating the compliance tracking system.
- Conducting field trips to understand external approval requirements.
- Supporting the Access & Approvals Team as needed.

- Possess excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Have strong analytical and digital skills.

- Be a student in Environmental Science, Planning, Law, Town Planning, Science, Earth Science, Geology, or Business.
Compensation & Benefits
Senex offers a paid 12-week internship with exposure to industry experts, site visits, and professional development opportunities. Interns will lead a project, support operational needs, and present outcomes to leaders and the Executive Committee.
Training & Development
Interns receive a comprehensive introduction to the natural gas industry, participate in culture and leadership workshops, and have weekly 1-on-1 meetings with a manager. A graduate support buddy is provided for corporate role transition.
