Job Description


This role can be based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.

We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of AI to spearhead our ambitious AI strategy and cement NCS Australia as an undisputed leader in innovative, AI-driven solutions. This is a pivotal, high-impact role where you won't just follow the market – you'll create it, shaping the future of AI both within our organisation and for our diverse clientele, driving groundbreaking innovation from strategic conception through to flawless market execution.

Your primary mission will be to architect and unleash our comprehensive AI Go-to-Market plan, pinpointing key client entry points and crafting compelling offerings that truly resonate. You'll take the helm in creating and launching targeted AI campaigns—imagine revolutionising customer service with intelligent, AI-enabled call centres—and strategically optimise this GTM to brilliantly showcase and integrate NCS’s broader suite of capabilities. As the champion of our AI expertise, you'll lead impactful marketing events and provide crucial support to sales engagements, significantly contributing to our regional and group thought leadership.

Beyond market impact, you'll play a crucial advisory role in reshaping NCS practices and delivery frameworks, ensuring we can seamlessly support our AI GTM strategy and meet the evolving needs of our clients in the AI space. Critically, you will also drive the transformation of NCS Australia into a truly “AI-enabled organisation.” By delivering rapid internal value through AI implementation, you'll not only enhance our operations but also position NCS as a shining exemplar for our clients embarking on their own AI journeys.


Qualifications

  • Proven AI Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy Leadership: Demonstrated experience in defining, developing, and successfully executing comprehensive AI GTM strategies, specifically within the Australian market, resulting in measurable business growth and market penetration.
  • AI Solution Evangelism & Campaign Orchestration: Expertise in translating complex AI capabilities into compelling value propositions, creating targeted AI offerings (e.g., AI-enabled call centres), and orchestrating impactful marketing campaigns that drive demand and showcase broader organisational strengths.
  • Deep AI Domain Knowledge & Influential Thought Leadership: Extensive understanding of current AI technologies, emerging trends, ethical considerations, and practical applications across various industries, coupled with a proven track record of establishing and promoting AI thought leadership to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Executive-Level Sales Enablement & Client Engagement: Demonstrable ability to empower sales teams with the knowledge and tools to effectively sell sophisticated AI solutions, and to confidently engage, influence, and advise senior client executives on AI strategy and adoption.
  • AI-Driven Organisational Transformation Leadership: Significant experience in spearheading internal AI adoption initiatives, fostering an AI-first culture, and guiding organisational change to build an "AI-enabled" entity that leverages AI for internal efficiencies and as a client exemplar.
  • Strategic Advisory for AI Delivery Excellence: Skill in critically assessing existing service delivery practices and providing strategic advice on reshaping frameworks and capabilities to ensure seamless, scalable, and high-quality support for AI GTM objectives and future client needs.
  • Strong Commercial Acumen in the Australian AI Sector: Proven ability to identify and capitalise on AI-driven commercial opportunities within the Australian market, demonstrating a clear understanding of client business challenges, ROI justification for AI investments, and the competitive landscape.
