About the Role

As the Assistant Enrolment Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the efficient delivery of high-quality, student-centred enrolment services at TAFE Gippsland. Acting as second-in-charge to the Team Leader Client Support & Enrolment, you will contribute to the smooth operation of the enrolment pipeline by monitoring workflows, optimising resources and workload allocations, and ensuring enrolments are timely, compliant, and responsive to student needs.

You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to identify and resolve process inefficiencies and act as a key point of contact for enrolment-related matters. This position also provides an opportunity to lead by example – serving as a senior Enrolment Officer, modelling best practice and offering expert guidance to enrolment staff and temporary agency staff during peak periods.

With a strong focus on continuous improvement and a commitment to exceptional customer service, you will be instrumental in delivering seamless experiences from offer to enrolment for all prospective students at TAFE Gippsland.

About You

You are an experienced and proactive administrative professional with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, you thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and are committed to ensuring a smooth and positive experience for every student.

Your ability to coordinate workflows, support teams, and adapt to changing priorities sets you apart. You have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and are confident working with complex systems including student management software and CRM platforms. Equally comfortable working independently or collaboratively, you bring initiative, sound judgement, and a strong sense of accountability to everything you do.

Importantly, you model professionalism and integrity in your interactions, demonstrate a solution focused mindset, and are motivated by contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence.

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant administration experience

  • Experience and high-level of proficiency using large integrated databases

  • A valid Working with Children Check

  • Current National Police Check (less than 12 months old).

  • A current Driver’s Licence
