Job DescriptionMH Fresh Pty Ltd Farm Manager Full-Time Park Ridge, QLD $70,000 to $80,000 About Us: MH Fresh is a well-established agricultural business specialising in vegetable growing located in Park Ridge, Queensland. We specialise in sustainable horticultural production and are committed to excellence in crop quality, operational efficiency, and environmental stewardship. As we expand our operations, we’re seeking a dynamic Farm Manager to lead our growing team. Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the day-to-day farming operations to achieve production targets and quality standards
- Developing and implementing effective farming strategies and practices to optimise crop yields and quality
- Supervising, mentoring and scheduling farm staff, contractors and seasonal workers
- Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of all farm equipment, infrastructure, and facilities
- Overseeing harvesting, post-harvest handling, packaging and dispatch of produce
- Overseeing the acquisition and installation of new plant and equipment
- Ability to understand and operate all types of agri-machinery
- Monitoring and analysing farm data, such as production and costs, to make informed decisions
- Coordinating the implementation of occupational health and safety requirements
- Collaborating with the Director to contribute to the overall business strategy
- Ensure compliance with all relevant agricultural regulations and industry standards
Skills:
- Minimum 3 years’ farm management or supervisory experience in vegetable production
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient with farm machinery and irrigation technology
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to team development
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
- Current Queensland driver's licence
