We are currently seeking an energetic, motivated, and enthusiastic Pipeline E&I Technician on a full-time permanent basis for Verbrec’s Dalby Team. We prefer for the candidate to be based in Dalby, no fly in fly out/ drive in drive out.
Reporting to the Dalby Supervisor, the purpose of the role is to safely and efficiently execute field services works for Verbrec’s operated pipelines and external clients alike. These services include: Meter validations, Non Fiscal equipment calibrations, Cathodic Protection Surveys, DCVG Surveys, PLC Fault finding, Pre-commissioning, and Commissioning of pipelines and associated facilities and general electrical work:
- To the highest level of safety, environment, community & stakeholder requirements.
- To meet agreed quality, operability, schedule, and cost targets; and
- In strict accordance with the relevant statutory & regulatory guidelines.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
- Certificate III in process plant operations or CP 1 - Cathodic Protection Tester – NACE. (Desirable)
- An equivalent trade certificate – Cert III in Electro Technology(Mandatory)
- Experience within the gas industry will be highly regarded specifically in the areas of Electrical, instrumentation, PLC, Meter Validations, and EEHA
- Experience within the gas industry be highly regarded specifically in the areas of pipeline inspection and maintenance.
- A safety-first approach.
- Experience working in remote areas.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- A high level of mechanical aptitude and willingness to develop on a diverse range of skills.
- Good communications skills, both written and oral.
- Sound computer skills.
- Experience with communicating with landowners and occupiers.
