About this Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Flight Nurse Manager, as the Patient Services Support Officer, you will provide clinical services support to the Aeromedical team at the Adelaide base, by maintaining healthcare-related equipment, providing a clean environment for patient care, supporting nursing staff and managing medical supplies and consumables for the base.

Specifically, you will:

· Coordinate and monitor the maintenance of medical equipment and consumables, including ordering and restocking, updating records and supporting with transfer of equipment and consumables between bases.

· Work with internal stakeholders to contribute to the maintenance of equipment and consumables.

· Support nurses with patient care and responding to patient needs within the Patient Transfer Facility.

· Maintain the cleanliness of the Patient Transfer Facility and equipment/consumables storage areas.

This is a full-time permanent position working within standard business hours, Monday to Friday.

About You

You have:

· Experience in equipment & supplies management would be an advantage, plus environmental cleaning in a commercial setting

· Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with individuals and teams.

· The ability to prioritise and multi-task with excellent time management skills.

· Sound computer skills including data entry into software programs

Your application would be enhanced by:

· Previous experience within a healthcare environment, including ordering and management of medical supplies, consumables and equipment.

· Certificate III in Health Service Assistant/ Health Service Support Services
