Sherrin Rentals is looking for a Field Service Mechanic (Heavy Diesel Fitter) to help keep our fleet in top shape.
If you’re an experienced Diesel Mechanic/Fitter who knows how to get the job done, this full-time role comes with great pay, plenty of overtime, travel perks, and your own company vehicle.
What you’ll be doing:
- Servicing and repairing heavy equipment on-site with our clients
- Diagnosing and resolving hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults
- Working independently with a strong safety-first mindset
- Travelling to different sites
What we’re looking for:
- Trade qualification, preferably Heavy Diesel
- HR Truck Licence
- Availability to go away every 2nd week
- Solid experience with heavy diesel equipment
- Strong diagnostic and hydraulics/pneumatics skills
- Basic electrical repair knowledge — AC licence a bonus!
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously
