About the role:

The Principal Cybersecurity Officer provides assurance, guidance and advisory in relation to the delivery, operations and maintenance of cybersecurity initiatives for the Victorian public health sector. The role covers all of public healthcare in Victoria and will be directly influential in mitigating cybersecurity threats and uplifting the level of cybersecurity across the Victorian healthcare sector. The position participates in a cyber incident on-call roster and requires the ability to perform intermittent after-hours work.

About you:

  • Minimum of 8 years cybersecurity experience, preferably in security operations.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in project management, delivery and deployment of cybersecurity solutions.
  • Experience in managing and responding to cyber incidents.
  • A tertiary qualification in relevant fields and professional certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA is highly desirable.
  • A full driver's license valid in Australia, and willingness to travel to regional and rural locations within Victoria.
