2XM Recruit are actively seeking a Quality Officer in Cameron Park to join a well-established Engineering firm on a permanent basis.Role: Quality Officer
Location: Cameron Park
Job type: Permanent
Salary: Circa $100,000 plus Super
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections (incoming, in-process, final) to ensure product quality and compliance.
- Support development and implementation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and ensure documentation accuracy.
- Monitor and resolve QA/QC issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, Australian standards, and company procedures.
- Maintain calibrated measuring equipment and accurate quality records.
- Liaise with internal teams, external auditors, and global offices.
- Promote a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
- Participate in quality meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience needed:
- Strong experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC), in an engineering or manufacturing environment (mining ideal).
- Mechanical trade
- Engineering education and/or practical experience in engineering
- Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems and Australian standards.
- Skilled in using measuring tools (e.g. micrometres, callipers, dial indicators).
- Strong experience in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
