We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist seeking to advance their practice in cancer services. As part of the RLHN team you will provide services based in metropolitan Adelaide for 14 sites in regional South Australia, with a model of care including telehealth patient consultations and on-site visiting to regional units. After 12 months, there will be the opportunity to rotate to a metropolitan LHN to complete the program, consolidating your learning including working with inpatients, and patients of increased complexity.

In this rewarding role, you’ll provide a broad range of clinical, dispensing and counselling services, helping to optimise drug therapy and support safe, effective medication management. Your expertise will play a crucial role in advising medical, nursing, and allied health professionals, ensuring care is aligned with current policies, guidelines, and legislation.

As part of a supportive and collaborative team, you’ll contribute to the delivery of comprehensive pharmaceutical care that enhances patient outcomes and meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This role is ideal for a pharmacist who is passionate about making a real impact in cancer clinical care and who values working within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

About You

You are a proactive and detail-focused pharmacy professional with a strong foundation in clinical pharmacy and a commitment to delivering safe, effective medication management. With excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, you’re ready to contribute meaningfully in a dynamic, multidisciplinary healthcare setting.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Demonstrated organisational and technical skills with attention to detail, accuracy, and a high standard of patient care.

  • Completion of pre-registration training in a hospital or community pharmacy setting.

  • Sound knowledge of clinical pharmacy practice, medication dispensing, counselling, and relevant pharmacy legislation and procedures.
