The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for an ambitious and driven Account Manager, with a solid track record of success in growing and nurturing multi-million dollar portfolios.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager and working alongside a growing team of four, the purpose of this role is to build strong relationships with an existing portfolio of clients in the mining and heavy earth-moving industries.
The location for this role is flexible and can be based out of Leeton, Sydney, Brisbane.
Day to day:
- Regularly meet with clients to gain a better understanding of their business operations and seek to add value whilst forging deeper relationships.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to unearth sales opportunities.
- Provide timely quotes and solutions for your portfolio of clients.
- Identify new sales opportunities within your portfolio and keep abreast of new tendering opportunities and contract renewals.
- Collaborate with the other departments such as operations, finance, HR, marketing, safety and innovation.
We are looking for an exceptional Account Manager with exposure to the tyre and wheel and or mining industries.
The ideal person will thrive in a fast paced and growing business, where change is a way of life, and be able to demonstrate experience growing and nurturing key accounts in the relevant sectors.
- Experience and knowledge of OTR tyres and wheels is highly desirable
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- The desire to grow and progress in your career, whilst being a strong team player.
- Ability to travel interstate as required.
- Experience managing long sales cycles up to 5 years.
- Experience using Pipedrive CRM would be ideal but not essential
- A track record of nurturing and growing multi-million dollar accounts
