Opportunities in General Liability

What makes us unique – our General Liability team is structured to give you exposure and flexibility. If you know exactly what area you want to specialise in, great - we’ll support you in developing deep expertise. If you prefer a mix of work across general liability, we can make that happen too.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate or Senior Associate to join our team. Our team advises leading domestic and international insurers on high-profile and complex matters, shaping the future of general liability litigation.
Depending on your expertise and career aspirations, you could work across:
- Sensitive Claims/Institutional Abuse : Defending institutions in historical and contemporary abuse claims, ensuring fair legal processes while managing complex and sensitive matters with discretion and care.
- Personal Injury: Representing clients in cases involving physical injury, ensuring compensation for medical expenses, pain, and lost income.
- Product Liability : Advising on claims against manufacturers for injuries caused by defective or unsafe products
- Property Damage : Handling disputes over third party property damage, working on some of the highest profiles claims in Australia.
- Associate or senior associate level with experience in general liability
- Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills
- A collaborative approach and a commitment to excellence
- Confidence to take ownership of matters and drive them forward
- A desire to grow your career in a leading insurance and risk practice
