Job DescriptionRecruiting for a seasoned & energetic Restaurant Manager for Postino Osteria. Are you passionate about Italian cuisine and culture? Do you have a knack for providing top-notch hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences?
Join us at Postino Osteria in Summer Hill, where we're looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead our traditional Italian neighbourhood osteria with a 136 capacity. We value big personalities, Italianity, and passion in our team members, so if you have prior experience with Italian cuisine and are ready to showcase your hospitable, charismatic, and neighbourhood-loving personality, we want to hear from you! Essential Requirements:
Fluent in English Hold a current RSA Certificate Full Australian working rights
Computer literacy is a must Minimum 18-36 months in a similar role Great memory for faces and ability to engage customers and staff and build excellent rapport
Italian food & wine knowledge Polite personal manner, both face to face and over the phone Understanding of hospitality cost control measures
Ability to keep cool under pressure Excellent attention to detail Excellent grooming standards
Preferred Requirements: Formal hospitality studies completed Formal wine studies completed
Experience with SevenRooms or other online reservations platform Speak Italian? Bonus!
