Description:
Australian owned leader in the Construction Industry is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead a small team at their Smithfield site.Reporting to the State Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations and ensuring a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely order fulfillment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting the organisations reputation for reliability and excellence in service.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Oversee daily operations including receiving, picking, packing, and dispatchMaintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stocktakesLead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to perform efficiently and safelyCoordinate with sales and logistics to ensure accurate and timely deliveriesManage incoming goods, check for accuracy, and report discrepanciesContinuously identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and improve flowEnsure warehouse equipment is maintained and operated safelyWork with the sales team to resolve customer delivery or stock issues
To be considered for this role you will need to possess the following:Proven experience in warehouse management or a supervisory logistics roleStrong leadership and team management skillsProficient in warehouse systems, inventory control, and Microsoft OfficeStrong organizational and time management skillsAttention to detail and commitment to accuracyForklift licence (LF) requiredKnowledge of the Construction industry advantageousUnderstanding of WHS regulations and safe work practices
