About the role
We are currently seeking a Senior Tax Advisor to join our Sydney head office. This role will assist with the taxation obligations of Laing O'Rourke including assisting in the implementation of appropriate tax risk management strategies and processes in relation to tax.
Key responsibilities
Provide technical support on tax matters and assist with general tax compliance and tax risk managementPrepare FBT returns for various entities within the group for review by Head of TaxMonthly preparation of consolidated BAS including BAS for various joint venture/Alliance entities for review by Head of TaxAssist in the preparation of consolidated company tax returnPreparation of partnership tax returns for review by Head of Tax
About you
CA/CPA qualifiedMinimum 5 years of relevant work experience in tax including in a commercial environment. Prior experience must also include work in professional practiceStrong tax technical knowledge and intermediate Excel skills.Must also have relevant FBT and GST experienceStrong verbal and written communication skills
