Based at Novotel & Ibis at Sydney Olympic Park, we are seeking a full time Demi Chef to join the kitchen team at BB's Restaurant & Bar, our signature restaurant offering contemporary dining that celebrates the best of local and seasonal cuisines.
Job Description
The Stores Manager is responsible for considering the interests of the Hotel in all transactions and activities involved in the search, selection, purchase, receipt, storage and issue of goods and services at minimum cost.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Analyse demand, supply and price as a means of striving for product knowledge
- Manage inventory and PAR levels
- Ensure all stores are organised and kept secured, neat and tidy
- Participate in inventory stock takes in stores and outlets at month end or when required by management
- Stock take of beverage main stores and outlets
- Stock take in general main store and outlets
- Actioning purchase orders for all food and beverage, and general goods
- Overseeing promotions in all outlets
Qualifications
Your skills and experience will include:
- Tertiary qualification in Hospitality or Business Management preferred.
- Minimum 3 years previous experience as a Stores Manager in a similar environment.
- Strong understanding of Logistics and Stores Systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Sound Financial and Business acumen with strong negotiation skills.
- An ability to understand and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
- Strong focus and passion for hotel operations.
- Sound understanding of emerging trends in the industry.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, develop and inspire teams.
- Confident and articulate communication, negotiation, relationship and networking skills.
- Service Oriented with a meticulous eye for detail.
