We’re looking for a Cloud Operations Engineer to help keep our platforms running seamlessly at SBM — a creative martech company that delivers strategic solutions across communication, marketing, and digital innovation.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll support and optimise our cloud-based solutions and hardware, working closely with our DevOps team to ensure stability, scalability, and performance across our systems. You’ll handle everything from ProOps and DataOps functions to L2/L3 technical support — so a proactive mindset, strong troubleshooting skills, and cloud confidence are essential.

Your role:
-
Ensure cloud operations run smoothly. Manage and support cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) across production and deployment environments.

Deliver critical support. Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for incidents and escalations, ensuring reliable service delivery.

Own ProOps and DataOps tasks. Take charge of operational stability and compliance across cloud environments (approx. 75% of your focus).

Support the dev pipeline. Troubleshoot and optimise CI/CD pipelines and applications built with Python, .NET Core, and Angular.

Manage Kubernetes environments. Keep our container orchestration stable, scalable, and secure.

Ensure support manuals and technical diagrams are always up to date.

Apply DevOps/Agile Kanban approaches for rapid and reliable delivery.

5+ years of experience with Linux, cloud infrastructure and patch management

Solid knowledge of AWS and Azure (GCP is a plus)

Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and production support

Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple platforms and environments

Good understanding of cloud security and compliance standards

Clear written and verbal communication — and a customer-first approach
