Somerset Regional Council is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to support the organisation in the following role.

LIBRARY SERVICES COORDINATOR

Reference No: HR053/25

The Library Services Coordinator is responsible for providing high-quality library services to the Somerset region, with a focus on managing the daily operations of the library service delivered through the regions four branch libraries.

Lead the planning, development and implementation of library policy and strategic direction across the region, with a particular focus on community outreach services and leading the innovation of digital services and online library platforms.

To be successful in this rewarding role, you will have:

· Experience in a library or similar customer service environment

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Demonstrated supervisory experience

· The ability to work well in a team environment

The successful application will require a Working with Children Check or the ability to obtain prior to commencement.
