We are currently seeking a Senior Account Manager to join our Honeywell Building Automation team in our Cannon Hill office. This role is the primary customer interface responsible for the development of business, and management of relationships within BA team. It is also in charge of the growth within the established customer accounts and demand generation sales activities to drive NEW business growth and acquisition. Ideal candidate needs to understand target customers and disseminates key messages, initiatives, and information on the value Honeywell brings to assigned customers, opportunities, and solutions.
Responsibilities-
Account management of nominated existing clients in Queensland

New business demand generation with all market segments as nominated
-
Customer engagement with product specialist to create and close opportunities, increase product and regulation knowledge

Attends sales calls to recommend products, provide technical support and identify help needed to close sales

Develop and sustain long term customer relationships

Review pipeline, monitor trends, add coaching notes and work zone managers

Provide detailed forecast to signal the LOB demand to resource team and management

Engage in two-way communication with offering managers and engineering to pass on industry intel, solve issues and provide feedback

A degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or other business-related field

3-6 years of business to business selling experience

Building Services industry experience primarily BMS in premium commercial would be highly advantageous

Knowledge in sustainability, fire, security, cyber and CCTV solution will be good to have

In-depth knowledge of Honeywell and competitor platforms, products and technologies is advantageous
-
Familiarity with industry regulatory requirements and future mandates

Experience in technical writing and preparation of proposals

Demonstrated ability to develop and foster strong customer relationships
-
Ability to communicate effectively across language and cultural barriers
-
Able to work autonomously in a highly complex environment
