Purpose of Role: As the Key Account Manager - BHP SA Copper group, with a focus on Brand Stack and Aftersales Support products, you will bring alignment and growth to all parts of the business.
With an unwavering ability to develop, deliver and implement strategic and sustainable value propositions to customers, you will see your efforts reflected in the growing relationships across the BHP SA Copper group.
Using your well-adverse business development skills, you will foster trust, reliability and strength through knowledge of the Weir Group of products and services, with the ultimate goal of having integrated solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary contact and facilitate structured engagement between both businesses and their key stakeholders including management, sales, and technical specialist to deliver the planDevelop, execute and achieve growth and aftermarket retention strategies that cascade to site specific objectives.Maintain comprehensive data on past and planned activities, customer information and customer callsTrack & report market share and opportunity GAP analysis focusing on closing the gapDevelop and achieve growth and aftersales retention strategies that cascade down into site specific objectives customised to individual customers’ needsMaintain technical knowledge of customer process to allow the development and improvement of customer operations specifically for aftermarket performanceSupport budgeting and forecasting for Aftermarket sales to ensure accuracy of phasing and marginSupport the overall wider brand stack and aftersales support growth strategy by supporting East regions customers and peers as requiredSafety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Mechanical Fitter trade certificate, Bachelor degree Process or Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)3-5 years relevant industry experience in a similar role.5-7 years direct sales experience within industrial markets with a sound technicalPrior experience with Weir Products would be highly advantageousHold a current manual drivers licence
