About the Role
Are you a passionate and innovative Art Therapist ready to make a meaningful difference in a dynamic healthcare environment? This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver a comprehensive Art Therapy service across the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN), supporting patients and their families/carers through creative, evidence-based therapeutic practices. You'll play a key role in planning, delivering and evaluating tailored Art Therapy programs, making a significant contribution to patient recovery, emotional wellbeing and quality of life. Your work will extend across multiple hospital departments in alignment with CALHN's strategic directions, ensuring holistic and person-centred care.
As a leader in this field, you'll also drive education, research and advocacy for Art Therapy within CALHN, helping to strengthen and expand awareness of its benefits. A core part of your role will be supporting the implementation and ongoing development of the Creative Health within CALHN — Being part of a vibrant initiative offering diverse arts-based therapies that enrich the hospital experience for patients, staff and visitors. About You
You are a qualified and passionate Art Therapist with a strong foundation in creative health practices and a commitment to delivering person and family centred care. With a balance of clinical expertise, communication skills and creative insight, you're ready to thrive in a multidisciplinary hospital environment.

Qualified Art Therapist eligible for ANZACATA membership with strong theoretical and practical knowledge

Skilled in delivering assessments and tailored interventions in acute and rehab settings

Experienced in planning, implementing and evaluating Art Therapy programs for diverse age groups

Strong communication, time management and teamwork skills, with a focus on quality care and safety
