Manage tax objections and rulings in a dynamic government agency.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of low- to medium-complexity objections and private rulings.
- Participating in inter-branch consultations on legislation, tax policy, and litigation.
- Reporting to the Team Leader in the Technical Advice and Review Branch.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Sound research, analytical, and investigative skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply legislation in complex environments.
- A relevant qualification in law, accounting, or commerce is well regarded.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $79,122 - $96,073 plus 11.5% superannuation.
- Based in Melbourne CBD with hybrid working arrangements.
