What does the job look like?
Linfox partners with leading resources and industrial companies, providing specialized warehousing and logistics services across the country. Our business continues to enjoy a sustained period of growth and investment, enabling us to deliver innovative and comprehensive supply chain solutions for multinational mining companies and leading industrial businesses. We are currently seeking a passionate, accomplished, and high-performing National Commercial Manager who can drive growth and profitability in this dynamic industry sector.
Reporting to the General Manager Commercial & Finance, you will be well-positioned to formulate strategic priorities and maintain commercial discipline to support the long-term objectives of the business. A dynamic role that will allow you to utilise your expertise in commercial analysis, financial and quantitative reporting, system support and business improvement solutions that make a real impact to the balance sheet. You will lead a geographically diverse team of Commercial Managers ensuring alignment with strategic business outcomes and shape the future of our logistics business.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Provide commercial and financial leadership of contracts within the Resources & Industrial business
- Proactively review pricing, tender and investment opportunities to maximise revenue growth and profitability
- Conduct financial reporting, long-term planning, budgeting, customer analysis and risk mitigation
- Drive strategic commercial modelling and analytics to support customer growth and retention
- Effective management and development of cross functional commercial team to promote a customer centric culture across geographically diverse business
- Partner with leadership team for customer commercial negotiations and proactive relationship management

- Extensive experience managing and leading complex commercial operations, ideally within a large-scale logistics environment
- Expertise in commercial modelling and business analytics of pricing, contracts and procurement combined with proven success in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
- Ability to confidently lead, drive outcomes and develop diverse high-performance teams
- Highly developed presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- CPA / CA or MBA qualifications
