About the RoleWe are urgently seeking experienced Industrial Electricians and Electrical Trade Assistants for an immediate start on a high-profile Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Brendale, QLD .
This project is a critical part of Queensland’s clean energy transition and offers excellent conditions for qualified experienced tradespeople ready to hit the ground running.
Dayshift and Nightshift available
6am - 5pm Days
5pm - 4am Nights
Must be loacated within a 45 minute radius from Brendale
Key Responsibilities Electricians:
- Install cable trays, ladders, and heavy-duty conduits
- Perform panel wiring, switchboard terminations, and infrastructure upgrades
- Terminate and handle large-format cabling – including 630mm copper and 300mm aluminium
- Support the commissioning phase of a cutting-edge BESS system
- Work from electrical schematics and maintain a strong safety focus
- Assist with big cable handling and site preparation
- Install conduit, support cable runs, and manage site materials/tools
- General labour duties and electrical support tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards on site
- Current QLD Electrical Licence
- Proven experience with large cabling (630mm copper & 300mm aluminium essential)
- Minimum 3 years' industrial infrastructure experience - Essential
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Bonus: Previous BESS or renewable energy project experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an industrial or construction environment
- Big cable handling experience highly regarded
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and proactive team player
- Bonus: Exposure to BESS or renewable sites
