We’re looking for a knowledgeable and agile individual to join our team in a rewarding Team Assistant First Peoples Programs role that plays a vital part in making a real difference.
From Monday to Thursday, you’ll work closely with a team dedicated to supporting First Peoples initiatives and creating environments that are culturally respectful, inclusive, and empowering.
You'll bring flexibility and adaptability to your work—no two days are quite the same. Whether you're assisting daily operations, supporting community events, managing documentation, or assisting with culturally safe practices, your contribution will be meaningful and valued.

Employment Opportunity :
0.80 Part Time (30.40 hours per week) Monday - Thursday
Fixed Term Contract to 19 December 2025
Salary :
$68,392 to $74,345 p.a (pro-rata) plus Superannuation
Superannuation is paid at the current superannuation guarantee rate.
About You :
- Has lived or professional experience with First Peoples and a deep understanding of First Nations culture (ideally in the VET sector)
- Is confident in creating and supporting culturally safe spaces
- Brings strong administrative skills
- Is agile and flexible , able to shift gears as tasks and priorities evolve
- Has great communication skills and ability to interact with Students in a positive and meaningful way
