About the team
The Chief Procurement Office provides expert advice, strategic direction and procurement solutions to deliver the Council Plan and drive impactful service outcomes. With a focus on providing strategic sourcing services, we’re leading the charge in delivering critical infrastructure, services and goods to our community.
About your new role
The Senior Contract Management Officer is responsible for providing quality data analysis, invoicing and billing support, and financial reporting, along with contract administration and source-to-contract support.
We have three roles available. Two of these roles will be Corporate Contract Management roles (including Goods & Services and Consultancies) and 1 role will be working with ICT Contract Management.
In this role, you will dive into the world of contract management, where you'll be monitoring service outcomes, analysing performance data, and collaborating and supporting stakeholders. You'll also champion service quality, value creation and realisation, prepare contract documentation, and work with your team to implement business improvement initiatives.
We're looking for people who have:

Experience in contract management and administration.

Process oriented with strong attention to detail.

Organised and self-motivated with the ability to prioritise tasks.

Experience creating contract documentation such as variations and extensions.

Ability to compile and/or review contract performance data and identify improvement opportunities.

Experience building and maintaining strong and positive stakeholder relationships.

Sound skills utilising software including Adobe, Outlook, Word, Excel and maintain accurate data in systems including Open Windows, SAP, Objective and SharePoint record management.

Experience using SAP and Service Now (ITIL proficiency advantageous)

Ability to solve problems using knowledge and sound judgement including analytical, research and evaluation skills.
