About the role

Reporting to the ANZ Production Planning Warehouse and Inventory Manager, this role will lead optimisation of the material planning and production scheduling functions. This will encompass driving efficiencies, cost savings, and waste reduction while ensuring a stable, predictable production plan that enhances surrounding teams' ability to plan and execute their work effectively.

  • Lead the team to develop production requirements for an 18-month horizon
  • Oversee scheduling 11m 9le of production volume across 3000 work orders in multiple production facilities
  • Develop strategies to recover variances to budgeted numbers and execute plans as required.
  • Actively drive improvements in plan stability to reduce cost and complexity for surrounding functions
  • Lead Accenture offshore team to deliver excellent results for TWE and leverage opportunities for improvement in processes
  • Develop strategies to recover variances to budgeted numbers and execute recovery plans as required
  • Drive a reduction in the cost of dry goods write outs through sound inventory and ordering processes while maintaining low inventory levels
  • Ensure that dry goods are sourced as just in time (JIT) and reduce associated transport and holding costs

About you

With extensive knowledge of production planning principles and requirements you will have proven ability to support contract development with partners, focusing on mutually beneficial outcomes. This will compliment your experience in managing teams, including direct reports and cross-functional coordination across multiple sites.

  • Expertise in project management, systems analysis, and process improvement.
  • Demonstrated success in inventory reduction while enhancing customer service through true Just-In-Time (JIT) principles and effective working capital management.
  • Experience in planning, supply chain, new product development, procurement, or analysis roles.
  • Experience in the FMCG or beverage manufacturing sector.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Procurement or Materials Planning is preferred
